Roses: Most matcha tea cuts corners, & is best used in a latte, or so high end it is reserved for special occasions. It is refreshing to find an option that can be enjoyed straight. It mixed great with an electric milk frother, and I didn't even need to sift first. Thorns: The only positive criticism I have, is that for some reason, as others also said, my emails didn't seem to reach any customer service reps when I had questions. So if you use "sub & save" for example, I suggest you go through Amazon to do so, as you can make the appropriate adjustments yourself if you are getting too much at a time etc. (You will miss out on the "rewards" though that are only available on the website.) Thanks Matcha Sense for creating a high quality, yet affordable matcha option that can be enjoyed daily for those amazing EGCG & L-theanine benefits!

It's more bitter/astringent than other ceremonial grade matchas I drink. I would not recommend drinking this alone, but it's great in a matcha latte. The price is more affordable than other matchas.
